Deep Breath...

So as usual, life has been keeping the whole family very busy.  Fortunately Ryan and I have this wonderful little face to stop and give us pause at how fortunate we really are.  I won't go into many details as I've just been working alot and really not much else.  However Miss Maeve is doing so much more each day.  Besides completely mastering the art of eating, she's close to crawling and would much prefer to stand up than sit down.

I think she's really starting to get pissed at these early morning pictures, but sometimes I can't help myself.  She's usually a good sport when we have to wake her up to head to school/work, but usually it's because she knows she'll be fed soon.  As her teacher, Miss Kim, tells me, Maeve hasn't found a food she doesn't like yet.  She's now eating breakfast, lunch, and dinner and about 3 - 3 1/2 bottles per day.  I'm sure she's beefing up, but she still seems pretty tiny to me.  She really holds most of her weight in those cheeks.

Last weekend was alittle chilly, but we weren't running around and were able to take a walk for coffee.  I think Ryan was embarrassed, but I thought she looked great.   The hat had matching mittens as well.

Easter was such a nice day.  We first stopped at Ryan's Aunt Elizabeth's for brunch, which was delicious.  Maeve was alittle out of sorts and really scared of going to anyone besides Ryan or I, which is so unlike her.  I hope it was just the day that she didn't nap well.  The Easter Bunny did show up at the Daleys with some treats for both Maeve and her parents.  I ended up ordering a basket last minute from Pottery Barn Kids thinking it wouldn't be here in time, but it arrived late Thursday.  I should have looked at sizes though because the basket was pretty large that even Maeve fit (alittle snug!).  Let's hope the Easter Bunny doesn't have to fill it up every year to the brim.

Easter finished off with dinner at Alicia's.  I was originally having it at my house, but we are in the midst of construction (it was moved up about 2 weeks).  Alicia did everything even though I was suppose to help.  I even forgot the wine and rolls... it was a bit of a rough day.  But we had an amazing meal and got to watch Bubba win the Masters.

I'll post family room remodel pictures once complete.  It should be wrapping up in the next day or two and I really can't wait.  We've been living out of the back room, which has worked out great.  However the remodel has left the house incredibly dusty so I'm ready for a clean house.

Here you can see how much more active she's getting, attempting to pull herself up and really starting to stretch out for toys.  She's rolling over quite well now.  She tends to do it while she's sleeping and then gets stuck on her belly and usually needs alittle assistance.  One of us will have to go in and flip her over, but she'll sleep right through it.
